About our Puppies

Our puppies are bred for type and temperament, the parents of which will hold a current eye certificate or will have had the optigen DNA test for PRA (USA) and will have had their hips x-rayed and scored under the BVA/KC scheme. They must also be of good temperament, conformation and have the desire and ability to work, as, a Chessie whilst being a superb and loyal friend is primarily a hunting dog.
We have held the top Stud Dog and Brood Bitch in Breed almost every year since 1989.

These extremely versatile dogs are accomplished in many areas beyond the field and hunting of which they are famous for. They are perceptive and sensitive dogs and are deeply devoted to their family. They also excel in competition in obedience trials, shows, field and hunt trials
All of the dogs have superb temperaments, good conformation, and they work in the hunting season.

A Chesapeake puppy's coat colour can become either darker or lighter with maturity. Puppy and adult colours can both range from a very light "deadgrass" colour to a rich, dark chocolate shade. It is common to see a wide range of colours within the same litter.
Chesepi dogs are World Wide as far a field as America, Bermuda and New Zealand to Belgium,  Eire, Finland, France, and Holland.
